PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the density of an optical communication module using a Peltier element for temperature control and to improve the temperature control the accuracy of the module. SOLUTION: The optical communication module is constituted by dividing a driving circuit into a drive control circuit 1 which controls the operation of the Peltier element 3 and a current outputting circuit 2 which supplies a current required by the element 3 and integrating the Peltier element 3 and control circuit 1 into one body by attaching the circuit 1 to the temperature control surface of the element 3.
