PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a plasma display panel, which enables a manufacturer to bake an electrode pattern, a dielectric paste coating film and a barrier rib all together, without disconnections or cracks. SOLUTION: The dielectric paste contains at least a binder resin, a bridging material, a thermal polymerization starter and inorganic powder, wherein the thermal polymerization starter of 3 to 30 pts.wt. is contained, in comparison with the sum of the binder resin and the bridging material of 100 pts.wt. The plasma display panel is manufactured, in such sequence processes that the electrode pattern is formed with an electrode paste, the dielectric paste coating film is formed with the dielectric paste, and the film is cured after the coating, the barrier rib pattern is formed with a barrier rib paste, and at least the electrode pattern, the dielectric paste coating film and the barrier rib pattern are baked all together.
