<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display system wherein transmission/reception of a video image can be made among a mobile display apparatus, a large-sized screen display apparatus, and a base apparatus by a user's operation for tracing a screen of the mobile display apparatus in the case of supplying a video signal from the base apparatus to the mobile display apparatus and the large-sized screen display apparatus so as to allow a user to be capable of sensibly making switching different from button operations of a conventional remote controller. <P>SOLUTION: A control signal generating means generates a control signal for switching a display image in response to a contact operating direction by the user on the basis of a sensing output of a contact position on the display screen detected by a touch panel 121 displayed on the display screen of the mobile display apparatus 100 for displaying a video image in response to the video signal supplied from the base apparatus 200, the mobile display apparatus 100 transmits the control signal to the base apparatus 200 via a 2-way communication means, and a control means of the base apparatus 200 applies channel selection control to two tuner means provided to the base apparatus 200 in response to the control signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
