<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for producing products timely in response to customer's needs and achieving production by order. <P>SOLUTION: In a production by order management system, at first, orders for domestic production is incorporated into a production plan, and orders for overseas production with long delivery periods are incorporated subsequently into the production plan. When incorporating production orders into the production plan, ideal numbers of units are set at each leveled element, more than one production plan is made based on achieving rates of the number of the units of the leveled elements actually incorporated into the production plan for the ideal numbers and based on the order of receiving dates of the production orders, etc., and an optimum production plan is selected in comparison of the production plans. When incorporating the domestic production orders into the production plan, production orders which reach a predetermined maximum residence time are forced to be incorporated into the production plan and the remainder are filled with production orders which have not reached the maximum residence time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
