<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up input and output by performing multiplexing of data and reducing the processing time required for interrupting processing. <P>SOLUTION: This device has a process 31 which requests an input and output operation, an adaptor 6 which performs the input and output operation based on the request from the process 31, and a scheduler 41 for laying the process 31 into a waiting state during the input and output operation of the adapter 6. When the input and output operation of the adaptor 6 is completed, the adaptor 6 changes the state of the process 31 which is waiting for the operation completion to an executable state, whereby the execution of the process 31 that requests the input and output operation is restarted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
