PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article dispensing mechanism of simple constitution capable of surely dispensing a beverage article one by one in order from the beverage article in the lowermost position, irrespective of a diameter of the beverage article. SOLUTION: This mechanism is provided with a stopper 3 energized by the first spring member to be positioned selectively to a lower end opening part of an article storage part, an engaging means 4 energized by the second spring member to be engaged with the stopper, the first slide member 5 for press-displacing the engaging member in a going final position to release engagement of the engaging member with the stopper, the second slide member 7 of which the base end part is connected slidably to the first slide member, and of which the tip part is projected to the article storage part in accompaniment to going motion of the first slide member to receive the next article, and the third spring member interposed between the second slide member and the first slide member to separate the slide members each other.
