<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ceremonial occasion service for providing an environment similar to a state that respective online attendants attend a ceremonial hall by enabling each attendant in the ceremonial hall to view respective online attendants and enabling each online attendant to view the ceremonial hall and other online attendants. <P>SOLUTION: A Web server 20, a mail server 22, a communication server 24, a hall terminal 30, a terminal 40 for the master of ceremonies, a reception terminal 50, a lounge terminal 60, etc., are connected to a network and connected to the Internet 1 via a router 28. When a user accesses the system by using one of online attendant terminals 81, 82,... having video television function, the user can perform online attendance to a ceremonial occasion. A display 32 and a speaker 34 are arranged in the hall and the video/sounds of respective online attendants are displayed.
