<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sequential joint connector and an additional contact using above which can easily mount an additional contact enabling a sequential connection, and also, surely achieve the sequential connection even in case of a small type receptacle contact. <P>SOLUTION: The sequential joint connector A is equipped with an additional contact 30 inserted and placed between a receptacle contact 20a in a contact storing cavity 11a and an inner wall of a housing 10. The additional contact 30 is equipped with a contacting board part 31 contacting with the receptacle contact 20a, a locking part 33 extending from a back-end side of the contacting board part 31 in an inserting direction through a bending part 32 and breaking into the inner wall of the housing 10, and a contacting arm 34 extending from a front-end side of the contacting board part 31 in an inserting direction protruding further forwards than a front end of the receptacle contact 20a, and also, cutting across an approach path of a counterpart male type contact 42a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
