PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image browsing system capable of efficiently displaying an index image for searching/browsing every image information obtained from a digital camera in an information processing device connected to the digital camera. SOLUTION: The digital camera 11 creates the index image S1 comprising shrinked images of still images and moving images, and transmits the index image S1 to a PC body 30 for storage. The digital camera 11 also creates combined frame images G1, G2, etc., comprising each frame images composing the moving images, and performs streaming transmission of the combined frame images to the PC body 30. The PC body 30 displays the received index image S1, and updates the index image S1 to the index image S2 with each frame images in the combined frame image G1.
