PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a still image camera capable of easily searching image data, improving efficiently of edition processing and realizing high-speed processing, even when duplicating multiple image data photographed by an image information recording apparatus in another image apparatus to reproduce them. SOLUTION: An image information file is stored in a plurality of directions, and at least a part of the accompanying information of the image information is stored in a control file provided in a directory including a routing directory provided differently from the image information directries. In this way, for example, even when image data are duplicated together with the directory onto another image reproducing apparatus for each directory of another apparatus such as a personal computer, image information can be easily searched by referring to the control file before referring to the accompanying data of each image file.
