PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail processing method and a system thereof, by which a mobile telephone can immediately receive distribution notification of an e-mail which has been distributed to the e-mail address of an e-mail server provided on the Internet outside a mobile communication system, without using an e-mail server in the mobile communication system. SOLUTION: The method has a step of transmitting distribution notification information, for notifying that an e-mail is distributed to the mobile communication system 70 from the e-mail server 51, when the server 51 is provided on the Internet 30 located outside the system 70 receives an e-mail for the e-mail address of the user of the mobile telephone 60, and a step of transferring the distribution notification information received by the system 70 to the telephone 60 of the user.
