PURPOSE: A built-in type microwave oven is provided to reduce noises and costs and allow for an effective use of energy by cooling the electrical component chamber through the use of a single exhaust motor assembly. CONSTITUTION: A built-in type microwave oven comprises an intake grille(40) arranged at the top of a front plate(28) of a microwave oven, and which sucks an air into the microwave oven; an exhaust motor assembly(44) arranged in front of the top surface of a cavity(22), and which guides the air sucked through the intake grille to the rear portion of the top surface of the cavity; an electrical component mounted on the top surface of the cavity so as to be cooled by the air being guided by the exhaust motor assembly; a rear air flow passage(62) formed between the rear surface of the cavity and a back plate(30) so as to allow for a passage of the air passed through the electrical component; a bottom air flow passage(64) communicated to the rear air flow passage and formed between the bottom surface of the cavity and a lower plate(32); an air intake unit(48) formed at the side surface of the cavity so as to permit the air being guided by the exhaust motor assembly to flow into the cavity; an air exhaust unit(50) formed at the top surface of the cavity so as to permit the air to escape from the cavity after circulating the cavity; and an exhaust grille(42) communicated to the bottom air flow passage, and formed at the bottom of the front plate.
