<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device capable of efficiently generating power from a low value to a high value by using a direct fuel supply fuel cell, and of realizing excellent performance. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell device is so structured as to connect, to the direct fuel supply fuel cell 2, a first tank 14 with a mixture solution having low fuel concentration stored, and a second tank 15 with a mixture solution having high fuel concentration stored by selectively changing over them. In traveling on a flat road, when it is detected by an accelerator opening sensor (load sensor 27) that the opening of an accelerator is small, the first tank 14 is connected to the fuel cell 2 by the control of a CPU 5 to supply the mixture solution having low fuel concentration to the fuel cell 2. In traveling on an ascending slope, when it is detected that the opening of the accelerator is large, the second tank 15 is connected to the fuel cell 2 by the control of the CPU 5 to supply the mixture solution having high fuel concentration to the fuel cell 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
