<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semiconductor laser drive circuit which is capable of enlarging the transmission band of a semiconductor laser. <P>SOLUTION: A constant current means which is connected to a constant current transmission line leading to the semiconductor laser and leads in a constant current from the transmission line through the intermediary of the connection point, and a load resistor which is connected between the connecting point of the transmission line and the constant current means and uses the potential of the constant current means as the basis are provided in the semiconductor laser drive circuit which uses the semiconductor laser that is driven by a drive current based on a modulated information signal. The load resistor is set variable so as to be matched in impedance to the operating resistance of the semiconductor laser. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
