<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to break a circuit by a simple part by simplifying the safety SW part of a fluorescent tube booster, and to simply perform PWM control by utilizing the part. <P>SOLUTION: Oscillations are stopped by breaking bias power to the base of an oscillating transistor of a boosting circuit.
