PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of electromagnetic waves from an antenna to be exerted upon the head. SOLUTION: Electronic equipment is provided with a main body case 1 mounted with an antenna 6 and a microphone part 7, a display case 2 having a display element 9 and a loudspeaker part 10, and an input case 3 having a keyboard 12. When the display case 2 is turned relatively to the main body case 1 and opened, the input case 3 is inclined and slid relatively to the main body case 1, and the antenna in the main body case 1 is away from the input case 3 at an angle. Thus, during the use, the display case 2 is turned relatively to the main body case 1 and opened, the input case 3 is made closer to the side of the face in such a state, the microphone part 7 in the main body case 2 is made closer to the mouth and the loudspeaker part 10 in the display case 2 is made closer to the ear. Consequently, the antenna 6 is away from the head, so that the influence of the electromagnetic waves from the antenna 6 to be exerted upon the head is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
