PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively perform preventive maintenance for a memory. SOLUTION: A memory controller 2 monitors the operational environments of a plurality of memories 10 to 19, and when the operational environment meets the predetermined condition (when a temperature sensor 3 detects temperature abnormality, or when a software 20 detects frequent occurrence of recoverable and correctable error in the memories 10 to 19), a system resource is secured through the software 20 and the plurality of memories are made to have RAID configuration.
