PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional method when realizing a conceal of access delay of data via a network with a program for performing a look-ahead caching, that an existing application requires the addition of a processing for changing an operation according to the presence of data on a cache. SOLUTION: This method includes a means for caching the data at a device driver level within a client system and a means for storing the cached data is an external storage device. It further comprises a means for transmitting a cache control command such as cache flash from the outside of a client to the client, and a means for executing the received cache control command in the client.
