PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing a polyester triangular section yarn which involves high grade luster, excellent resilience, and soft tactile sensation with a uniform section face. CONSTITUTION: In a method for preparing a polyester triangular section yarn, a polyester polymer with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.640-0.671 passes through a special section-faced spinneret(2), and cooled while being applied with emulsion directly under the spinneret. The speciality of the spinning hole in the spinneret is 2.0-10, the slit width thereof is 0.6-1.3mm, and the ratio of the slit length to the slit width is 2.0-12. The number of the spinning holes is 24-144, and the amount of spinning thereof per minute is 0.20-4.5g/min.hole. The spinning of the spinneret is made at 280-290 deg.C, and the cooling is made by a cooling air(1) at 15-25 deg.C. The speed of the cooling air is 0.25-0.75m/s. The cooled polymer is heated between first godet rollers(4) at 75-90 deg.C, and drawn in a ratio of 1.4-2.0, being the speed difference between the first godet rollers and second godet rollers(5). The polymer is second-treated by the second godet rollers at 110-130 deg.C, and wound at 4000-6500m/min. |
