PURPOSE: Provided is an artificial stone, which has excellent appearance and color like a natural stone, maintains an adequate rigidity and durability without generating cracks for a long time, and is used as a constructional material. CONSTITUTION: The artificial stone is formed from the mixed raw materials comprising 1 m3 of a material containing charcoal powder, loess powder, cement and Chinese ink or a dye diluted at 3-150 times in the weight ratio of 1:0.25-1.5:1.0-2.0:1.0-2.0, and 0.9-2.7 kg of a polypropylene fiber. The artificial stone is produced by mixing the above raw materials, forming and drying to obtain an artificial stone, dipping the artificial stone into an inky water or a dye diluted at 20-60 times for 3 days or more, and drying the artificial stone in the shade.
