COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the power consumption as much as possible and to perform accurate cell management in real time in cell detection and cell monitor.

SOLUTION: In a correlation circuit 103, a correlation value is obtained by despread processing of a reception signal. The correlation value is sent to a cell detection circuit 104 and a cell monitor circuit 105. Results of cell detection and cell monitor are sent to a cell management table 106, and cells are classified and managed. After changing a period of cell monitor and cell detection by various events, a management circuit 107 instructs the cell detection circuit 104 and the cell monitor circuit 105 to detect and monitor cells with the changed period.
