<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronics apparatus which can make effective use of a battery according to each function. <P>SOLUTION: Significance degree of each function is regarded as an element, and this constitution allows the intention of a user himself to be directly input and set. This apparatus prevents a situation from occurring where a function with high significance degree cannot be used because a function with lower significance degree is being used without any particular intention, by conducting a battery management by a method to control a usable region of a battery capacity, according to the level of significance degree of a motion of each function part by significance degree. Also, a correction function by a consumption current is mounted while as a principle a utilization restriction of a battery is set at the apparatus side according to the significance degree. The correction function is conducted inside the apparatus. Also, convenience is improved by realizing a function which can conduct a setting alternation of the significance degree of the initial setting before the utilization restriction starts.
