PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipole synchronous generator where the quantity of power generation is large even if only low-speed revolution can be obtained by improving the efficiency of relative motion between an armature and a field pole, thereby accelerating the generation of an induced electromotive force. SOLUTION: In a synchronous generator which is formed by providing a field pole at the inwall of a drum and providing armatures 4 inside the drum 1, a shaft for rotatably supporting the synchronous generator is formed as an inner shaft 6, a shaft for rotatably supporting a drum 1 is formed as an outer shaft thereby constituting a double structure, and a large number of segment magnets 2 are alternately provided into dissimilar poles in the circumferential direction at the inwall of the drum 1 composed of a magnetic substance. Inside the drum 1, the inner shaft 6 rotatably supports the armature 4, and the outer shaft supported rotatably by the inner shaft 6 supports the drum 1. The inner shaft 6 and the outer shaft rotate the drum 1 provided with the segment magnets 2 at its inner face and the armature 4 reversely to each other so as to generate power, thus the multipole synchronous multipole generator where power generation is large even at low revolution is obtained.
