PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of improving illuminance. SOLUTION: A globe 14 installed in the luminaire is formed of transparent or translucent synthetic-resin or glass in the plate of a rectangle, to have light transmissiveness. A Fresnel lens 21 is installed at a place corresponding to a light source for the globe 14, and a prism lens 22 is installed in an area except the Fresnel lens 21. The Fresnel lens 21 is made of a plurality of grooves, has a function as a convex lens, and focuses the light emitted from the light source to illuminate the transmitted light high in luminance to the outside.
