PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail delivery system, which delays the delivery of an electronic mail to a receiver and allows a sender to delete an unwanted mail within a mail preserving time period, if it is before the receiver receives the mail. SOLUTION: The electronic mail delivery system has a delayed delivery computer 2 for temporarily preserving an electronic mail in an external storage device 22, at delivering of the electronic mail, and a preserved mail operating unit 11 for requesting to delete the transmitted electronic mail preserved in the device 22, on the basis of a deleting operation by the sender.
