PURPOSE: A rubber composition is provided, to improve the scorch resistance without deterioration of the curing velocity due to the co-using of a sulfenamide-based curing accelerator and a thiuram-based curing accelerator by employing a surface-treated sulfenamide-based curing accelerator instead of adding a scorch retarder. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a source rubber selected from the group consisting of a natural rubber, a rubber mixture of a natural rubber and a diene-based rubber and a rubber mixture of a natural rubber and a diene-based copolymer rubber; 1.0-2.0 parts by weight of a surface-treated sulfenamide-based curing accelerator; 0.5-1.5 parts by weight of a thiuram-based curing accelerator; and optionally at least one additive selected from the group consisting of a reinforcement, a curing agent, a curing activator, a softening agent and an antiaging agent. Preferably the sulfenamide-based curing accelerator is surface-treated with perfluorinated hexane by using plasma, and is selected from the group consisting of N-cyclohexylbenzothiazol-2-sulfenamide, N-t-butylbenzothiazol-2-sulfenamide and N-oxydiethylbenzothiazol-2-sulfenamide.
