PURPOSE: An artificial eye for a human body and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to considerably reduce the weight of the artificial eye while keeping the original appearance thereof, and to improve the wearing feeling thereof. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the artificial eye for a human body comprises steps of; pouring gypsum into a lower flask, inserting the roughly preformed artificial eye into the gypsum, and applying a separation agent to the top surface of the gypsum and the rear surface of the artificial eye; coupling an upper flask to the lower flask, pouring and sticking the gypsum into the upper flask, separating the artificial eye from the lower flask, and processing the rear surface of the artificial eye; mixing acrylic resin powder and rapid resin solution in a ratio of 3:1 to gelate them, and pumping the mixture on the upper flask; applying an adhesion along the rear rim of the artificial eye, and coupling the upper flask and the lower flask with the rear surface of the artificial eye disposed on the upper flask; heating the flask in a sterilizer, and grinding and finishing the whole surface of the artificial eye.
