PURPOSE: A cleaner for a recorder windway is provided to achieve a sound of superior quality by completely removing waterdrop formed on an arched windway or a rectangular windway. CONSTITUTION: A cleaner(101) includes a core(102) and an absorbing fabric(103). An arched windway or a rectangular windway is formed on a block of a recorder mouth piece. A width of the core(102) is smaller than a width of the arched windway or the rectangular windway. A height of the core(102) is shorter than a height of the arched windway or the rectangular windway. The absorbing fabric(103) is attached to a front surface and a rear surface of the core so as to absorb waterdrop formed on the arched windway or the rectangular windway. A plurality of cutting sections(104) is formed at one side of the cleaner(101).
