PURPOSE: A thermal distortion prevention apparatus is provided to prevent a thermal distortion of the reflector which accommodates an electrodeless lamp and a resonator, by improving the structure of the reflector. CONSTITUTION: A thermal distortion prevention apparatus comprises an electrodeless bulb(1) encapsulated with a material for emitting a light by the microwave generated from a microwave generator(3) arranged in a casing(C), wherein the electrodeless bulb is protruded from the casing; a resonator(5) for accommodating the electrodeless bulb, and cutting off the microwave and allowing the light emitted from the electrodeless bulb to exit; and a reflector(110) for accommodating the electrodeless bulb and the resonator, and which is protruded so as to prevent a transfer of the heat generated from the electrodeless bulb.
