PURPOSE: A resonator protection apparatus is provided to protect the resonator from the external air and foreign substances. CONSTITUTION: A resonator protection apparatus comprises an electrodeless bulb(1) encapsulated with a material for emitting a light by the microwave generated from a microwave generator arranged in a casing(C); a resonator(5) for accommodating the electrodeless bulb, and cutting off the microwave and allowing the light emitted from the electrodeless bulb to exit; and a protection pipe(101) for accommodating the electrodeless bulb and the resonator and protecting the resonator.
