ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR

PURPOSE: Provided is an electrostatic precipitator with deodorizing and sterilizing functions. CONSTITUTION: The electrostatic precipitator comprises a housing provided by a front and a rear side casings(11,13), a gas inlet formed at an end of the housing, a gas outlet formed at the opposite end of the housing, an ionizer(20) and a dust collecting unit(30) installed in the housing at the front side and the rear side, respectively, a first filter(15) installed on the front side of the housing, and a second filter(16) provided in the housing between the ionizer(20) and the dust collecting unit(30), wherein the ionizer(20) is comprised of a plurality of grounded electrode plates horizontally arranged and a discharging lines installed between the grounded electrode plates, and wherein the grounded electrode plates are coated with photocatalyst such as titanium oxide.
