OVERSEAS MEDICAL SERVICE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an overseas resident officer and his/her family to take medical treatment on site on the cashless basis and to relieve a burden of paperworks of a health insurance association by electronic procedures using a computer communication network.

SOLUTION: A surrogate service company has a domestic center 4 in Japan and has overseas centers 5 abroad. Only one overseas center 5 is illustrated though the overseas centers 5 are placed all over the world. The overseas center 5 cooperates with an affiliated hospital 6 that accepts the medical treatment of the resident officer 7. Only one affiliated hospital 6 is illustrated similar to the overseas center 5. The officer 7 dispatched from a company 2 to the overseas finds the affiliated hospital 6 by referring to web pages of the domestic center 4 or the overseas center 5, visits the affiliated hospital 6 by further referring to a web page of the affiliated hospital 6, presents a medical card and takes the medical treatment on the cashless basis when the officer 7 is required to take the medical treatment because of sickness, etc.
