PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for charge display which are so improved that the billed charge for service provided to a terminal is equal to the standard charge of the billed charge displayed on the terminal. SOLUTION: A service providing device 2 when starting providing the service to the terminal sends a charge table consisting of service units and unit prices of the service units. The terminal 1 measures service units shown in the received charge table, calculates the standard charge on the basis of the measured number of the respective service units and the unit price of the service unit shown in the charge table and displays it to the user each time the measured number increases, and repeats the measurement of service units, calculation of a standard charge, and display of the standard charge.
