PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal with an international dial operating function in which a conversion to an unfamiliar and complicated international telephone number i performed by a more simplified operation and a conversion to an appropriate international number is performed in accordance with a moving location. SOLUTION: A location of a present terminal is identified by a location identifying part and in accordance with the identified location, it is decided whether a destination is caller's own country or overseas country. When the destination is an overseas country, an international prefix corresponding to the identified location is specified. Further, a country code is made correspondent to the caller's country or specified from an inputted telephone number of a party or the like and by using them, the conversion to the international telephone number is performed to originate a call. When the destination is caller's country, a call is originated by using a domestic telephone number as it is. The converted number is displayed on an operation screen and it is also confirmed by a caller whether the converted number is appropriate or not. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
