PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved techniques for synthesizing information about signal nets from a plurality of package models. SOLUTION: These techniques comprise steps of selecting a first one of the plurality of signal nets, selecting, from a first one 202a of the plurality of models, a first package-specific value 308b of the property of the first signal net, selecting, from a second one 202b of the plurality of models, a second package-specific value 316b of the property of the first signal net, and applying a synthesis function 216 to the first and second package-specific values 308b, 316b to produce a synthesized property value 608b.
