A fuel cell unit/stack (FCUS) (1) connects in series to a purifying unit (PU) (2) fed with gas rich in oxygen, e.g. surrounding/intake air, via a first pipe (5). When purified, this gas/air leaves the PU via a second pipe (6). A container links to the PU to act as liquid feed/drain. A gas moisture control unit (4) can fit in the second pipe between the purifying unit and the FCUS.
