FIELD: spraying liquids and fluid agents; chemical and paint-and-varnish industries; metallurgy; metalworking. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is used for application paint-and-varnish protective coats and cooling rolled stock and parts. Proposed device has housing with through cylindrical cavity provided with branch pipe at one end and nozzle at other end. Located inside housing is insert with internal longitudinal through passage; side wall of housing has through hole; said insert is made in form of pipe-shaped flexible collet whose split end is located in nozzle; located in cavity of flexible collet is flexible bush fitted on said branch pipe; slots of flexible collet are closed on one side by internal surface of nozzle and by external surface of flexible bush on other side, thus forming passages connected with through hole found in side wall of housing; flexible collet is provided with mechanism for longitudinal motion relative to housing. Proposed device ensures continuous control of dispersivity due to change in area of flow sections of gas supply passages at multi-jet delivery to spraying cone.
