<p>The invention relates to a motor-driven lock with a linear actuator. The inventive lock employs the simultaneous withdrawal of a slip bolt (6) and at least one latch (4) which are locked in the extended position, in which the slip bolt (6) acts as a latch. Moreover, said slip bolt can also occupy a partially extended position in which it acts as a slip bolt. The slip bolt (6) and latches (4 and 53) are withdrawn using motor means comprising a linear actuator (22) which is used to convert a rotational movement into a linear movement. The very small-dimensioned linear actuator (22) (44x18x12 mm) consists of an actuating screw (48) which acts along an axis parallel to the motorization without stroke limitation. In addition, said linear actuator, which can support both vertical and horizontal high loads, can operate simultaneously in two directions, by means of both ends of the screw. The above-mentioned linear actuator is made from a body comprising two equal plates (42) which support an assembly consisting of the shaft of the motor (50) which drives a cog pulley nut (48), by means of a cogged belt (43), said nut (48) rotating on a screw spindle without any axial movement.</p> |
