FIELD: sewing thread for sewing of special documents. SUBSTANCE: sewing protective thread is manufactured from synthetic thermoplastic polymers and composed of 2-3 multifilament twist threads twisted together. Basic pneumatically connected multifilament threads have equal linear density of 20-30 tex, with number of pneumatic connections being equal to 20-50 per 1 m and 420-600 twistings per 1 m. One of multifilament threads is colorless or colored with colors visible in daylight as well as in infrared and ultraviolet beam and remaining threads are colored with luminescent colors. Color concentration in each thread is 0.01-0.15 wt%. EFFECT: increased efficiency in protecting of special-purpose documents from counterfeit, improved sewing properties due to high rupture strength, low fluffing up of thread end and increased wear resistance. 1 tbl |
