The invention relates to a linear drive for an injection group of an injection moulding machine. Said linear drive comprises an electric motor (35, 39), a spindle drive (30) which is driven by said motor, and an energy accumulator acting on the spindle drive. Said energy accumulator can be discharged during a first operating cycle requiring a high amount of energy and can be recharged during a second operating cycle which differs from the first and requires a small amount of energy. Two telescoping housing elements (32, 33) which can be slid inside each other enclose the spindle drive (30) and a gas volume (44) in a sealed manner. One housing element (33) is connected to the spindle shaft (31) in an axially fixed manner and the other housing element (32) is connected to the nut (34) of the spindle drive (30) in an axially fixed manner, at least one of said connections being rotationally fixed. |
