<p> A source document auto-resizing algorithm in a facsimile-capable device. When a user inputs the source document into the facsimile-capable device, the source document is converted into an intermediate converted document with the resizing algorithm resident in the facsimile-capable device. The intermediate converted document is then transmitted to a destination device having predetermined output capabilities, which intermediate converted document is processed into an output document by the destination device in accordance with the predetermined output capabilities.</p> |
