A coring tine comprises a penetration barrel consisting of a penetration barrel main body and a cylindrical drilling section removably disposed thereunder, a grip section leading to the upper end of the penetration barrel and adapted to be attached to tine holder in a drilling device, and a thin-plate-like blade disposed at the lower end of the drilling section for cutting soil cores. The penetration barrel main body has a lateral opening that widely laterally opens. The drilling section has the thin-plate-like blade for cutting soil cores disposed at the lower end thereof to project along an imaginary diametrical line, and also has a wedge disposed on the periphery thereof that is formed by removing the material from a region extending from an intermediate portion toward the lower end on opposite sides in the manner of slope. When a number of coring tines are set in the drilling device and used for coring lawn soil, the soil cores discharged from the coring tines are in a finely divided state, usable as a top-dressing.
|
