PURPOSE: A cutting system for sink head of gravity casts is provided to greatly reduce chip generation during cutting, and obtain cut surface having uniform roughness by using ultra-high pressurized water spray cutting method instead of existing saw blade cutting method. CONSTITUTION: In a cutting system for sink head of gravity casts for cutting and separating the sink head(7) from cast article(5) after gravity casting, the cutting system comprises a position sensor(11) for outputting a certain signal according to the detection results by detecting whether cutting part(9) between sink head(7) of the cast article(5) horizontally moved by transfer bed(17) of transfer unit(16) is within a certain fixed cutting position section (Z) or not; a control unit part(12) for outputting on/off control signals according to the outputted signals by receiving signals outputted from the position sensor(11); a power supply unit part(13) whose driving is turned on or off by the on/off control signals outputted from the control unit part(12) so that the power supply unit part(13) selectively supplies power supply; a water pressure supply unit part(14) driven by power supply supplied from the power supply unit part(13) so that the water pressure supply unit part(14) generates water pressure and supplies water of ultra-high pressure; and an injection nozzle(15) for injecting the water of ultra-high pressure onto the cutting part(9) between the sink head(7) and the cast article(5) passing through the cutting position section (Z) so that the cutting part(9) is cut after receiving water of ultra-high pressure from the water pressure supply unit part(14).
