DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING BASE STATIONS OF TERMINAL IN CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A device for displaying base stations of a terminal in a CDMA communication system is provided to enable the terminal to display kinds of the base stations after confirming each kind of the base stations, thereby enabling a user to receive a service by selecting a desired communication function. CONSTITUTION: A controller(602) generates frequency channel control data of base stations at base station searching time, analyzes signals received from base stations of set frequency channels, and registers setups of the base stations. An RF unit(612) sets receiving RF bands by the frequency channel control data, and down-converts the received signals with the set frequency bands. A searcher measures strength of the signals received from the RF unit(612), and outputs the measured signals to the controller(602). A display(608) displays the registered base stations.
