A projection unit is arranged on the side of a projection screen (1) facing away from the vehicle interior. The projection unit is connected to a computer for processing the data to be displayed. The projection screen comprises holographic-optical elements which deflect a light beam from the projection unit to the observer of the screen, and simultaneously expand it.
