The invention relates to a method of producing dies having suitably corrected dimensions in order to compensate for the deviations produced in the parts obtained. For this purpose, the inventive method takes account of all of the parameters that can influence the final dimensions of the part obtained, including the full three-dimensional geometries of all of the elements forming the complete mechanical assembly, i.e. the press, the die and the support base.
