SELF-BIASED DIFFERENTIAL INPUT BUFFER INCLUDING PULL-UP AND PULL-DOWN COMPENSATION UNITS AND METHOD FOR COMPENSATING OUTPUT SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A self-biased differential input buffer including pull-up and pull-down compensation units and a method for compensating output signal are provided to increase the speed of an input buffer by minimizing rising and falling skews of an output voltage. CONSTITUTION: A differential amplifier(110) receives a predetermined reference voltage(VREF) inputted to a first input terminal and a predetermined input voltage(VIN) inputted to a second input terminal. The differential amplifier(110) compares the reference voltage(VREF) with the input voltage(VIN) by using the reference voltage(VREF) as a switching level to output the compared result to an output terminal. A pull-up circuit(210) pulls-up the voltage(VOUT) of the output terminal to the level of power voltage(VDD) in response to the input voltage(VIN). A pull-down circuit(220) pulls-downs the voltage(VOUT) of the output terminal to the level of a ground voltage(VSS) in response to the input voltage(VIN).
