The device is assembled of a box profile (1) attached to a housing accommodating a radial fan (2) and the fragrance container (3) joined to the lower side of the profile (1). Scent molecules are guided into the box (1) and are blown by the air stream created by the fan (2) into the adjacent room or into the ventilation duct of an air conditioning system. The fragrance container (3) can be filled with a liquid substance released by a wick (4) or with scented granules.
