An injection molding tool for producing a plastic card, especially a chip card, comprises two tool halves (1,2). One half is an injection side and has an injection nozzle, while the other half is a closure side. The mold cavity (4) inside the closed tool (3) has the shape of a card (5), and at least one of the tool halves has a guide (6) for a magnetic strip (8) located on a carrier material (7).
