The compensating device includes a rotor arrangement driven at a speed (revs) and phase dependent according to a given ratio on the speed (revs) and phase of the piston engine (1). The rotor arrangement can be driven by means of a separate drive motor (5) with a control device (6) for synchronizing the rotor arrangement with the piston engine (1) in the given ratio.
